They do(ish). It is segmented into two rooms and I am sure if your party is large enough you can get the one room on the side. Just call and see. They were pretty nice and accommodating when I've gone there.
An interesting experience to say the least. I will start off by saying, never have your family work in the restaurant with you if they aren't qualified or aren't properly trained. We ordered and food came out almost immediately, but the server didn't know prices, didn't understand substitutions, and didn't really have any kind of knowledge about her job. Food wasn't terrible, but clearly was made once and left for the rest of the day. Clearly canned and sugar and salt tossed on for flavor. Fresh food would go a long way at this place. Pork wasn't bad and had good flavor, but meant was clearly frozen and then immediately cooked and not fresh whatsoever.
Their Barbeque beef special dinner was fantastic! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable.
My wife and I both had the lunch special, the meatloaf platter. It was excellent! If we lived closer, we would eat there often.
Very quaint with good food & friendly service
Just average. Nice that it's downtown,
Great food and great value for your dollar! Both plates were under $10 each for lunch!
This is our first choice when in Hannibal!Good food, lots to choose from.
Food was good. Waitress fair. Bathrooms were very dirty.
One of the worst meals I've ever had. I ordered the chicken parmesan, which was WAY overpriced, and it was soggy, rubbery and had clearly been microwaved. I could only manage a few bites. Pretty sure they're literally microwaving frozen meals and selling them to unsuspecting tourists. The restaurant was also full of mosquitoes and the bathroom was dirty. Never again.
We ate here on a trip to Hannibal because of its location and decor. What a mistake. First off, it was a 90+ degree day and they didn't have the air on. The entire restaurant was stuffy and humid. The salad bar was a complete joke. What little iceberg lettuce they had was turning brown. I ordered the prime rib, but what I got was some sort of gray slab of meat. All the sides came out of a bag from the freezer. All the meals looked like they were cooked in the microwave. Our server was friendly enough but not very attentive considering how empty the place was.
Very disappointed! Showed up at 1pm when the main rush for lunch was leaving, plenty of open tables. Seated right away to only sit and wait 20 before we gave up and chased down a waitress to take our order. Waitress said she would do a substitution on my order but once the plate came it didn't have what I ordered. Waitress said that's just how the plate comes. Everytime I asked for certain sides she refused my order. Food wasn't that great overall, what we had of the BBQ beef wasn't bad but everything else was mediocre at best. Would not recommend, will not be back!
Food was really good! I couldn't stop eating!
What a great place to relax and have a great meal. Unique comfort type food. Come try this place, your sure to like it.
Run down place. The staff could care less if they waited on you. Food was not good. Won't be returning.
My first visit. Had the bratwurst&sauerkraut. Rather average.
Great food and wonderful atmosphere!
Great bbq etc. Ate here 20 times @ least.
Good food even if the wait staff was a lil attitudinal
Friendly and accommodating staff. Thanks! They close at 2 so get there early.
Please don’t go here. I had the BBQ beef plate. It was chewy, extremely fatty and the sauce had too much vinegar. They said it was brisket but they cooked it wrong. I ended up getting sick afterwards. The potatoes looked like a 7 year old made them. Boiled, cut with a butter knife and zero flavor. The corn was the only thing I enjoyed The waitress was awkward, as if she didn’t want to be there. They need to re-evaluate their staff and menu.
Really good food! Had the prime rib...it was excellent!!
Waitress was very slow coming to table, when she gets at table to take order said they had no hamburger to make our cheeseburgers so we we got up and left.....
Food wasn't as good as I expected, and a bit over priced.
First sign it was not a popular location was empty tables. Tried the prime rib and it tasted like crockpot pork. The sides are better. The pie tasted a mix of chocolate pudding, hot fudge, and brownie dough.
Has really good food with decent prices.
Very good food at a very good price
Food was great staff quirky.
This place has a very rude owner. Joe yells at his customers from the kitchen and also hid wait staff. Very rude! I wouldnt even give 1 star if I didnt have to.
Amazing food
Was not impressed at all. Our server was like a robot, and then the worst thing happened. The older women sitting behind us had an order for "lightly" fried fish. The cook proceeded to come out to the table and tell her that it had to be done.... Cause of it being thick cuts of catfish filets. Then tells her that she is now making him behind in the way then cause he had to come out, with an attitude. All this happened in the middle of one of the biggest festivals this town has....... Great way to serve customers....a$$#0le.......
The southern style pecan pie is out of this world amazing! Tastes old fashioned and not too sweet! The thing to get here is the Tenderloin sandwich with cheese, it's the best in Hannibal and probably the best in all Northeast Missouri. I always dip my chips in the homemade bbq sauce. Yum!
Great place to eat, prices were fine, portions we're great. All the staff were helpful and fun. A fine choice.
Never have I ever had such a rude waitress in all my life. She never responded to our "Hi, how are you" when she first walked up. Just stared at us. Walked at a snail's pace to get our drinks and when she brought them to us, she slammed them down on the table and threw the straws from across the table. Still, never responding to anything we said to her. Not to mention she was covered in dog hair. We left and went down to Wayne's BBQ and had the best service and meal! 8/8/2020
A beautiful historic restaurant on Main St. in Hannibal, Missouri. The decor will take you back in town. The food is good and the service is friendly. The prices are not unreasonable. It's almost like a museum and a restaurant. Really enjoyed looking at all the different things on the walls. Good place to try.
Our meals were good, portions were large which made up for what seemed like steep prices at first. $2 for a can of warm soda is unreasonable, however. Husband and I were in on Valentine's Day and the owner surprised us with complimentary chocolate covered strawberries. Our waitress was young and seemed nervous, probably the owner's teen daughter, but she was attentive.
Fitz's root beer was the only thing we got to enjoy. Server seemed aloof, until we discovered why... the man in the kitchen (cook? owner? manager?) began CUSSING her out! The entire place could hear him from the kitchen! She was on the verge of quitting - we hope she does. It seemed like it wasn't the first time. We promptly paid for our drinks, handed her a tip, and left as soon as we could. Good luck miss! Life has more to offer! You can do it!
Really good food. Very pleasant staff. The decor is fun and perfectly suited to the downtown Hannibal historic area. Definitely worth the visit. Prices are very reasonable especially for the amount and quality of food.
Sorry no go for us owner was so inconsiderate. We were visitors to this town for a Steampunk festival.. understand the limited menu. But the owner refused to serve a Reuben without the cheese, said no special orders. The poor waitress had no idea what to say. Just flabbergasted this guy can’t understand people have dietary restrictions.
Pretty neat lil place. on eat at. My food was awesome. My friend enjoyed as well. I'll definitely be eating here more for sure
Recommended by a local, which normally is good but not in this case. Salad bar barely had enough lettuce to make a salad. We never been there before so we had several questions which we heard the waitress complain about. She was so young she really didn't know how to be a good server. Food was nothing more than already processed food with some seasoning added. Beware of green beans as they are full of sugar. Never did bring our drinks and had to point out to take off bill. Server also the one ringing us up. She didn't know prices and spent several minutes looking at menu even though I told her the price of each meal. After all that she still got it wrong and over charged me. And she didn't even offer a printed receipt. Had to ask for it and she tore off a little piece of the bottom of it. So, frustrated I didn't even talk about the overcharge, just got out of there fast as we could! If I could rate 0(zero) I would. Don't go here, go up to the Mark Twain dinette.
Delicious homestyle food for a reasonable cost. Loved the classic 1800's decor.
The food was decent enough, especially the green beans. We liked the historical setting.
Good food, nice portions, attentive staff
Waitress was high. Food was left from earlier in the day or maybe day before. Meal overcooked.staff was rude and not helpful.will never go back.
Delicious BBQ here. We just had a quick stop for lunch, but they made a good impression!
Worst meal ever!! We were traveling through Hannibal Mo and stopped for the night. Thought we would try a local restaurant close to our motel. I should have read the reviews first. My husband ordered the prime rib special medium rare. It was served well done and tasted like it was heated in a microwave. I think a frozen meal would have tasted better. Waitress was very unprofessional. Lesson to me...read reviews first.
The food was good and the people were nice! Decor was interesting.
The atmosphere was delightful and so far the food has been wonderful. The portion size is more than expected.
Waitresses were rude to each other. Arguing over serving tables but then service was slow. It was 95 degrees outside and I wanted ice water. I was served room temp water without ice. Burgers are served on hoagie buns. The blue cheese burger is a burger with blue salad dressing on it. Like cold salad dressing. Potato chips were stale. My assumption is only tourists are keeping this place going. You will not be asked how you want food cooked, it will be served well done. My boyfriend ordered the special, it was nothing special. Prices were reasonable. Filled the voids in our stomachs. Wouldn't eat here again but not bad enough to complain to owners. We know it's a mom & pop joint and they are just trying to make it.
I personally ❤ their "unique" breaded tenderloin w/ cheese & Joe's homemade Bar B Q sauce.
